Snow White and the seven dwarfs

The fairest of them all was quite the challenge to make, or rather her collar was. It’s weird how the smallest things turn out to be the most complicated to make. Well, not the smallest, the dwarfs was fairly easy to make, if you pardon the pun.

The dwarfs are obviously not toilet rolls, only Snow White is. For the group picture it felt right to use a filter to make it resemble the vintage poster.

The Little Mermaid

I loved this movie when I was a kid. No, love is not the right word, I was obsessed. I even made a shoe box diorama with Ariel, Flounder and the statue of Eric. Now I’ve grown up and make toilet roll figurines instead.

Beauty and the Beast

This is my favorite movie of all times. I still collect the old toys from the movie. When I was a kid, I saw it a thousand times, I made my own version into a play AND a different one into a puppet show. Belle and the Beast were both made of socks and it all looked terrible. Hopefully my toilet rolls have a bit more character.

Pocahontas

Suddenly, Pocahontas happened 20 years ago. The Disney film, that is, not…the real one, I do understand that. I still felt old, though. So I needed to process this with toilet rolls. And then I wanted to make more Disney characters.
